Threadbare is an hour long virtual web series airing as part of the GypsyVerse Productions virtual entertainment network.
The show follows a man on a mission to rescue his kidnapped sister from a trusted mentor. Along the way, he starts to discover paranormal elements of our world that he never knew existed before.

Yeah, the first Connor movie, which got surprisingly decent reviews is an eyesore for me now.

Orrin Penn - portrayed by Sean Maher (season 1 - present) A young reporter stuck writing obituaries for a small town newspaper, Penn thought he'd be doing bigger things with his life. When his parents died, he gave up a lot to take care of his younger sister. Now, with reality falling apart at the seams, even this life he's carved out for himself is being threatened. August Richards (Season 1 - present) Penn's best friend and a police officer, Damian has a strong moral center and can be looked on to do the right thing even when it's likely to cost him more than anyone else. That doesn't keep him from having an upbeat attitude though, even if everything is slowly going to hell around him. He may have to beat the crap out of a few bad guys on his way to saving the day, but that doesn't mean he can't enjoy it along the way. Back to top |

Jeffrey Quinn - portrayed by Ron Glass (Season 1 - present) A police chief, partner to Penn's father as well as superior and mentor to Damian, Quinn is a man who has seen much of the world. Like Damian, he does whatever he needs to in order to do the right thing, but his view of the world has been shattered by years of seeing the guilty rewarded and the innocent punished. The world was broken long before it began falling apart, but Quinn is a man who sees opportunities in even the direst of circumstances. Back to top |
